If you are still ohhh-ing and ahhh-ing over Maharani April’s wedding from yesterday, you will be happy to know that we are featuring a dynamite Arizona Indian wedding her and her team shot, the weekend right after her wedding!  Bringing their passion and enthusiasm to Indian weddings, Robles Video Productions has completely blown me away with this South Indian celebration. Waterfalls, flowers, and the grand entrance of the JW Marriott set the stage for a beautiful wedding, and I am loving everything from the bride’s wedding band to the adorable flower girl.  Grab a refill on your chai and get ready….it’s a gorgeous Friday!

From April Robles, of Robles Video Productions :

“On April 7, 2012, Ramya and Srikant married at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa located in Phoenix, Arizona. This venue by far is one of the most beatiful resorts that we have shot at. The morning started out with the groom arriving to the ceremony site on a horse following his baraat, which was accompanied by live dhol, music, and dancing. The traditional South Indian Hindu ceremony was held outdoors on the scenic Wildflower Ballroom Lawn.

As soon as I met this client, I instantly felt connected to them, they were so excited about having us cover their wedding, and we were equally excited about flying out to Arizona. One of their wishes for video, was to get a same day edit of their wedding. We shot the baraat & ceremony in the morning, and by the evening, we had a beautiful highlight piece for them to share with their friends and family at the reception.”

Looking at these fabulous reception images by Harvard Photography bums me out a little bit, because I wasn’t able to make it to the wedding!  How adorable does Maharani April & Maharaja Sagar look dancing alongside their fabulous dhol players.  And, don’t even get me started on the gorgeous flowers by Square Root Designs.  Bright and sunny, yellow flowers filled the room, and I think it perfectly fits this happy couple.  A big thank you to all the amazing Southern California vendors who brought April’s dream day to life!

Congratulations April & Sagar!  Wishing you love, laughter, and happily ever after!

This has to be the easiest Indian wedding feature I have ever written.  Not only, is it staring my dear friend, Maharani April, of Robles Video, but the love between this fabulous couple seems to leap right off the screen.  Elegantly captured in these portraits by Harvard Photography, there is so much that I adore about this pair.  Congratulations to the two of you!  And, just wait until you seen their reception Maharanis!!!!

Now remember when I spilled in the last post that April wanted her own baraat?  Well, she was not kidding around!  Flanked by four fabulous dhol players (Malidar Tooray, Jess Tooray, Jag Tooray, Puneet Layal, Ronak Parikh), this Maharani makes her promenade down the aisle with a big statement, and of course, smile!  Captured beautifully by Harvard Photography, this fabulous entrance will warm your heart.  The thing that I love most about April & Sagar’s wedding is that they took a Mexican/Indian wedding and put their own spin on things!
